Generally when you hear the terms "budget" or "low cost" you automatically can assume that the product is not high quality. When it comes to the Largo Elliptical that is not the case. At under a thousand dollars you would probably expect to get a bare minimum elliptical for every once in a while use. The truth is that the Largo is built sturdy for everyday use and comes packed with great features.
When it comes to home gym equipment, at a price range of under a grand really limits the quality of the product. But with Yowza Fitness and the fact that they are online only you get to buy their equipment at factory direct prices.
As you can see from the picture the Yowza Largo is closer to the level of machine you would find in a gym around town. Pretty basic but what sets it apart from basic ellipticals is the fact that it has a built in iPod docking station with speakers on the sides. Also you have a perfect sturdy feel that is comfortable and not stressful on your joints.
The stride length of the Largo is a little small at only 18 inches. But the only way you will notice or feel semi unnatural at this stride length is if you are over 6 foot tall. For the average user 18 inches is just right though. We found that running on the Largo provided a very smooth motion that was not loud and felt good. The fact that it was still silent is rare to find in ellipticals under a thousand dollars.
Lets talk about the warranty. Generally on lower level ellipticals you will find warranties of less than a year on parts. With the Yowza Largo however, there is a Three year parts warranty. Why? Because Yowza Fitness makes their ellipticals built to last.
As you can determine from the overview shot above, the Largo is a very skinny elliptical trainer. This allows it to tuck in nicely against a wall and stay out of the way. With dimensions of 51 by 24 inches length by width, it will fit almost anywhere you need it to go.
The control panel is a little basic but still provides you with all the controls you need. You can adjust the incline and resistance as needed to provide intensity to your workout. Also you are constantly provided with vital information such as heart rate, calories burned, and more. All of the information is delivered to you on a bright blue LCD screen.
Conclusion: The Yowza Largo is an excellent starting elliptical for those who are new to their exercise and weight loss journey. If you are on a budget and want to find a sturdy elliptical cross trainer that has great features like built in speakers and iPod docking then the Yowza Largo is for you. Priced at under $1000 it beats out all of its competitors with ease.
